Y-DeZign

Youth Beginner Sewing (Ages: 11-up)

Y-DeZign I: Hand and machine sewing will be taught. Final project: Personalized Alphabet Pillows by sewing machine. (See Schedule.)

Y-DeZign II: This class will focus on taking measurements, cutting out patterns, and creating a pair of pull-on pants (or a skirt). (See Schedule.)

Y-DeZign III: Based on the Adult Beginner I sewing class. Each sewing technique taught will eventually be used in the final project. All students create the same garment, which is designed to encourage the students' sewing ability.* (Currently not offered)
